Chris Alan is a United States–based photographer specializing in Nautical & Marine Photography. His work spans regattas, yachts and charters, coastal destinations, water-based products, and cargo & industrial operations.

Growing up on the water in New England, Chris developed a lifelong connection to maritime life. After exploring other genres, he returned to photographing the subject matter that felt most authentic — the boats, coasts, and working waterways that define life on the water.

Whether documenting the energy of a sailing race, the refinement of a luxury charter, or the precision of port operations, Chris approaches every project with the same focus: to create purposeful imagery that highlights the subject’s value, uniqueness, and place in its environment.
